GARDEN CITY -- Police in Garden City are looking for three men who reportedly beat another man with a baseball bat early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 8500 block of State Street at about 1:30 a.m. for a report of an aggravated battery. Police say a 48-year-old Garden City man told them he'd been in a fight with three men and was hit several times with a baseball bat.
The men left the area before officers arrived, police said.
The injured man was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
Someone who lives in the area witnessed the attack, police said.
The suspects are described as being in their late 20's; Two were Hispanic and approximately 5'7" tall, while the third had a dark complexion and was about 6 feet tall, police said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
