LG Optimus True HD LTE heading for more markets in Europe and Asia
LG has announced that it is taking the Optimus True HD LTE (nee the Optimus LTE) and its beautiful screen into more markets worldwide, specifically Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Known here in the U.S. as the LG Nitro HD, the 4.5-inch smartphone packs a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera, and of course the amazing True IPS HD 1280 x 720 display offers up quite an impressive package.
LG is also a major player in the LTE game. They hold the most LTE patents, held the first ever demonstration of LTE capabilities in 2007, and developed the first LTE modem in 2008. They're in for the long haul, and understand that high-speed data on-demand is the future of mobile. But according to Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, "LTE isn’t just about the network and that all LTE phones are not alike".
With the Optimus True HD LTE LG is showcasing the phone as well as the network. Anndrew seemed to think they have something a little special here while reviewing the Nitro HD, so maybe they are right. No word on when to expect this one on the shelf, but LG tends to move quickly so keep an eye out.

TomTom's new sat nav: perfect for your van down by the river
If you're prone to hitting the road in a trailer or camper, you probably know that the road isn't exactly made to accommodate to your less-than-dainty vehicle. In a bid to express its deepest sympathies (and, you know, make money), TomTom is unveiling a device made specifically for caravan owners. In addition to offering the standard TomTom Live features for keeping up to date with traffic and weather reports, the Go Live Camper and Caravan includes warnings for narrow roads, low bridges and the like, and it also highlights the nearest rest stops and other points of interest for road trippers. And because you probably trade in that motorhome for a smaller set of wheels on occasion, TomTom lets you switch to a different profile, complete with customizable specifications for size, weight and speed. The Go Live Camper and Caravan will set you back £349.99, and as the price indicates, it's currently only set up to handle roads across the pond.

Well, if you weren?t already sick of the Kardashian klan already, you soon will be. The power family just signed a three year, $40 million deal with E!. The Kardashians certainly are raking it in. They already took over E! for seven strong seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians? and they will continue for three more. I have to admit, it is the best show E! has and I used to watch like a train wreck. Till Kimmy went and got all stuck up with her quickie wedding, it totally turned me off. But I still tune in occasionally, cause like I said, it is the best show they have and sometimes nothing else is on. You will see the entire Kardashian Krew – Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Apple?s Mothra Quarter Was Actually More Impressive Than Their Godzilla Quarter
Two quarters ago, Apple unleashed Godzilla. It was a quarter so spectacular that the only appropriate way to describe it was in pure expletive form. $46 billion in revenue. $13 billion in profit. 37 million iPhones sold. 15 million iPads sold. A gross margin of 44 percent. These weren't just good numbers, they were obscene. That's what made yesterday's earnings release insane: Apple almost managed to match those numbers last quarter.
